		<description>Protein and veg mostly, e.g, chicken breast or fish with broccolli or asparagus.  Peppers, mushrooms, cauliflower are also recommended. Call me weird but I usually eat eggs, egg whites, and something like blueberries or cherries.  I&#039;d consider these an exception to the rule because of how low glycemic index they are.  No starches after 6PM might be a better description.  Nuts make a great after dinner snack, as might cottage cheese and blueberries.  

Also, the time you get off work is not as relevant as when you go to bed when considering what the cutoff should be.
