Here’s a brief video from my recent “Secrets of Supportive Eating” seminar.  In this video I share some thoughts on how fit people think differently from people who struggle with weight, or struggle with staying fit.  Ultimately it’s about serving yourself to the best degree possible.  That in turn allows you to do more for others, be more, do more, and get more out of every single day.

I also refer to Abraham Lincoln famous quote that “if I had only 6 hours to chop down a tree, I’d spend the first 4 hours sharpening the axe.”  Because a lean, fit body is the ultimate “axe” that allows you to get through everything, to live more effectively and enjoyably, to do more for those you care about, and be more present in your life.

Conor Kelly – You Have To WANT Change

Why is it that most people have to hit “rock-bottom” before they take action to make a change in their lives? Anyone can become even more fit and burn more fat, I know many examples of people doing just that. The point is that certain actions need to occur for that to be possible. For you to take action, you gotta really want your outcome! It is your “why” or your reasons for wanting change that will fuel your desire to make it happen.

If you have a reason that’s a 5 out of 10 for you as far as how compelling or what kind of emotion it generates, then you’ll take action at a 5, and your results will be a 5. You need to look inside yourself to get inspired and find those 10′s that are gonna force you into taking massive action!!! When we are true to ourselves we have many 10′s. Don’t wait for life to come along, slap you in the face and give you a big ‘ol 10 to force you to move on what you know you should be doing anyway! Find that within yourself now, today. Bring that 100% to your action and you will experience beautiful changes beyond your wildest dreams!!!
